1st Time Visitors

If you are visiting with us for the first time you probably have many questions. We hope we have answered many of those here. If you have additional questions, call or email us and we’ll address those asap.

  1. Everyone is welcome at BFBC!
Regardless of age, ethnicity, social or economic background, the Lord God loves you, and we love you! Our motto explains best who we are: “The Perfect Place for Those Who Aren’t!”  We ALL have a past; there are none perfect among us!  Come as you are! You will be warmly welcomed.

  2. What type of music can I expect?
Our worship music reflects the fact that people come from a variety of backgrounds. Our music is a blend of great hymns and contemporary worship and praise songs that honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You’ll sing with a piano and with CD music. Some Sundays you’ll witness a drama skit, or view an inspiring video, or watch as our Interpretive Movement Team expresses music thru motion.

  3. What about my children?
Your children are your most precious possession. We will treat your children as the special gifts from heaven that they are. Our teachers and nursery volunteers have all passed strict background checks. All teaching materials are biblically based and in line with the fundamentals of the Christian faith.

Sunday School Age Groups:

  1. Adult Bible Study
The ole-timey definition of “Sunday School” certainly doesn’t apply at BFBC. We don’t have teachers just lecturing for an hour.  The Bible Study periods are structured to encourage participation in both children and adult programs. We always make time for prayer requests and sharing. There are four adult Bible Studies from which to choose. You may attend any of these classes, no matter your age. Visit and see where you’re comfortable—that’s probably where God wants you.   ☺

  1. What do I wear?

Casual attire is what you will see most at BFBC. We are not fancy; a mixture of dressy and casual on Sunday mornings and casual for Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
