About Our Pastor

                                             

Before being called into God’s ministry, I served 28 years as a public servant in law enforcement; 21 of those years as a Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Officer. I am a native of Jasper County,SC.After my salvation experience at a rural Baptist church in Tillman, SC, I became an active member of Pine Level Baptist Church in Grays, SC and served there seven years. In 2005, I felt God’s nudge and in Aug. 2006, surrendered to God’s calling into pastoral ministry. After ordination into ministry, I served as Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist in Ridgeland, SC for 5 years, Interim Pastor at Middle Ground Baptist Church in Sylvania, Ga. for 14 months, and then the Lord called my wife and me to Brooklet First Baptist Church in March, 2013.

Credentials: 

1. Called of God to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus

     Christ, His Son, who died for me on Calvary’s Cross.

2. BA in Bible and Theology from Louisiana Baptist

     University, Shreveport, La

3. Licensed to preach by Pine Level Baptist Church (SC)           

4.  Ordained as a minister by Faith Baptist Church (SC)                                       

 

What do I believe? I believe Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten Son and I believe Christ died for my sins. He chose to come here to earth, a human, but without sin, so He could be the perfect sacrifice needed to restore our relationship with the Heavenly Father.  Jesus was crucified and buried but arose on the third day and is alive in Heaven right now preparing a place for you and me.
